Wembley Stadium Trip
Last week, Year 5 were fortunate to visit Wembley Stadium as part of their geography and history learning. They engage in a workshop which developed their map reading skills; became historians looking for clues in photographs and used their problem solving skills to work out the etymology of local street names, linking back to the Anglo-Saxons. In addition to this, they had a guided tour of the stadium, visiting exclusive areas such as the main dressing room for the England team and sitting in the royal box of the stadium! It was wonderful to be out and about once again on a school trip and we know that the children thoroughly enjoyed their experience.
