Brunel Book Club Launch Event

On Thursday 16th January, twelve selected Year 5 pupils were fortunate to attend Brunel University’s launch event for Book Club. This was the start of a two-year programme that these pupils will be part of and the launch event was thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended. These pupils met and heard an inspirational presentation from the author, Jennifer Killick, and experienced a book café where they explored numerous texts. This was a wonderful event and these pupils are now excited about their weekly book club sessions that commence next week.
