Junior Citizen Activity Programme
On Wednesday 20th March, all of the Year 6 pupils attended the Junior Citizen Activity Programme, which took place at Brunel University. This programme was an active safety programme in which the children took part in mock-ups of dangers they may face in everyday life. Organisations that were involved included; the NHS, Fire Brigade, RNLI, police and TFL. Children also learnt about online safety, road and bike safety. This trip was very beneficial as it followed the basic principles of raising the pupils' awareness of their own personal safety and the safety of others around them. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all and our pupils found it very informative and beneficial.
